Hero of Hoops Contest
Everything will work backwards from the final Hero of Hoops contest that begins on Tuesday 4/4 and will have 405 entries. The Hero of Hoops contest will be a four-slate competition where scores will be accumulated over the course of four days, and whoever scores the most cumulative points wins!
The grand prize is a trip to Las Vegas for NBA Summer League this July.
Contest Details:
- Four slates – Tues 4/4, Wed 4/5, Thu 4/6, Fri 4/7
- 405 entries
- Multi-entry – users will be eligible to qualify for multiple entries
- Note: in the final Hero of Hoops multi-entry contest, users can only assign a Moment to one lineup, the same Moment cannot be used in multiple lineups
- Cumulative leaderboard adds up the scores from each slate
- Total cumulative score wins!
The only way to earn one of the 405 Hero of the Hoops entries is through our Qualifier contests, which begin this Wednesday.
Hero of Hoops Qualifier Contests
The Hero of Hoops Qualifier contests will take place over the course of 8 slates starting Wednesday 3/22. The slates will be weekdays only and there will be no Hero of Hoops Qualifier contests on Saturday or Sunday.
Eight slates: Wed 3/22, Thu 3/23, Fri 3/24, Mon 3/27, Tues 3/28, Wed 3/29, Thu 3/30, Fri 3/31
There will be four Jolly Joker Qualifier Leagues, one for each JJ tier.
Each tier will have their own daily Qualifier Contest and cumulative leaderboard. Members will gain access to their tier and all the ones below as well. For example, Gold Club members will belong to each tier and be eligible to submit four Hoops lineups into four different contests every day, giving you multiple chances to win entries each night. You are eligible to use the same moment across multiple Qualifier contests.
Users are eligible to win multiple entries to the Hero of Hoops and there is no limit on how many entries one user can win. Once we get to the Hero of Hoops contest, you will submit multiple entries into the same contest, where you can only use each Moment once.
405 total entries will qualify for the Hero of Hoops contest via a combination of the daily contest leaderboards and the cumulative leaderboard:
- Jolly Jokers – 225 total Qualifiers
- Top 25 each night for the eight daily contests
- Top 25 on the cumulative leaderboard
- All Stars – 90 total Qualifiers
- Top 10 each night for the eight daily contests
- Top 10 on the cumulative leaderboard
- Hall of Fame – 45 total Qualifiers
- Top 5 each night for the eight daily contests
- Top 5 on the cumulative leaderboard
- Gold Club – 45 total Qualifiers
- Top 5 each night for the eight daily contests
- Top 5 on the cumulative leaderboard

Eligibility for each league will be determined by a snapshot at 11:59 pm ET on Tuesday 3/21.
