We are excited to kick off the 2022 season of the Owners Club!

What is the Owners Club (TOC)?
The Owners Club (TOC) is a Web3 fantasy football experience built on the FLOW blockchain. TOC players build their collection through purchasing packs of NFTs, after which they can sell the NFTs on the secondary marketplace and/or use them to compete in free-to-enter fantasy football contests to win real money.
Last football season, we held 18 weeks of contests including playoffs, with ~$1.5M in prizes distributed to the community. The 2022 season of TOC will be moving to the FLOW blockchain, kicking off shortly with a brand-new user experience redesign.
What are TOC NFT cards and how do they score fantasy points?
TOC cards are reflective of a city and position group, each with a unique serial number. For example, you could own the Las Vegas WR card serial #297, as pictured below. The Las Vegas WR card scores points for the entire position group of Las Vegas wide receivers. The serial number is used as a tiebreaker, where the lower serial wins. No need to worry about injuries or goal-line touchdown vultures in TOC!

What is the TOC Classic game?
Users purchase packs of TOC cards for $99 each.
Every pack contains 5 NFT cards, one each of the following positions: QB, RB, WR, TE, DST.
Once you own a card, you can sell the NFT on the secondary marketplace and/or use them to compete in free-to-enter fantasy football contests to win real money.
For the 2022 season there will be five contests in which you can play your cards:
- Four open-entry weekly contests (Main Event, Side Hustle, Lowball, Island of Misfit Cards)
- One weekly OGs contest that uses ONLY First Edition cards and will have a rotating format.

Are there any other TOC game play dynamics I should be aware of?
Glad you asked! We’ve already mentioned 1) cards representing position groups and therefore being more immune to the injuries and vulture TDs that have driven fantasy players crazy for decades and 2) the existence of a marketplace to buy and sell cards.
The third Traditional TOC wrinkle is the lock time for weekly entries. All contests lock Sundays at 1PM ET. This means that any Thursday Night, Saturday Night or early Sunday morning games will have known outcomes and associated card scores. This has proven to create some awesome game theory as owners decide whether to be buyers or sellers.
What is TOC Best Ball?
TOC Best Ball is a completely different style of contest.
Users purchase Best Ball packs for $10.
In each pack, there are 20 cards. The user takes those 20 cards and builds a 12-card lineup. The 12-card lineup is then minted as an NFT and automatically entered into the respective Best Ball contest. After that, there is no weekly management; we do all the work for you!
Each week, we automatically enter your optimal 6-card lineup of QB, RB, WR, TE, DST, SUPERFLEX. Weekly scores will be added up over the course of the season, and the card that scores the most cumulative points after 18 weeks is the winner.
There will be 5 Best Ball contests this season:
- An open-entry Early Bird contest launching in early August
- An open-entry Main Event contest launching in mid August
- Three Jolly Joker-exclusive contests token-gated based on # of Jolly Jokers minted
- Extra Point
- Field Goal
- Touchdown
Best Ball will also include a secondary marketplace where users can buy and sell lineups directly from the leaderboards for each of the 5 contests.
How can I buy packs?
Packs will be available for sale soon, beginning with the Early Bird Best Ball contest. You can purchase packs directly from the TOC website, using either your OTM balance or your Dapper balance via our Dapper Wallet integration.
What is the total supply of packs and how are the prize pools determined?
In order to create a healthy gaming ecosystem, it is critical to find the appropriate balance between supply, demand, secondary marketplace health, and prize pools.
For Best Ball contests, there will be an unlimited supply and no limit on how many packs a user can purchase.
For TOC 2022, we will begin by minting 50,000 packs. We will then sell those packs in smaller drops. When the drops sell out, we will open up another drop. If we sell out all 50,000 packs, we will evaluate the current demand and mint another set of packs accordingly.
One of our goals is for packs to be available throughout the entire season, so that new users who discover TOC in the middle of the season are still able to get involved in the full experience, including the opportunity to rip packs!
Prize pools will be determined as a function of how many packs are sold. The more packs that are sold, the larger the prize pools will grow. We will share more specifics on the prize pool numbers as we get closer to Week 1 of the season.
Is there a marketplace?
Yes! There is a secondary marketplace for both Best Ball and the traditional TOC cards built directly into the TOC platform, which includes Dapper Wallet integration. Users can buy in the marketplace using either their OTM balance, credit card, or their Dapper balance.
What are First Edition cards?
First Edition cards are the cards from our inaugural 2021 season. That first season of the Owners Club will always have a special place in our hearts. That is why we will be hosting a weekly OGs contest where users can only use First Edition cards from TOC. Get prepped for the OGs contest by checking out the marketplace!
